Only 16 when he recorded these tracks, Andy not only wrote all of the songs but produced the session as well, big job for anyone at any age. Poxon's mixture of American Roots music incorporates heavy doses of the blues as well as rockabilly, soul and jazz guitar flourishes. Poxon's song writing is already advanced with impressive lyrics and arrangements. No doubt he'll be compared to other great young artists, but Andy is truly his own man. He is a true triple threat as a song writer, singer and gifted guitarist. Andy is one of the most talented young musicians to come around in a very, very long time.
